What Are Quality Failure Reports?

Anytime the Quality Control Department team finds an issue with a particular item, it’s reported to the Purchasing team, and to the vendor, and our Accounting department.

 

The Quality Failure Report documents what the issue is, what was expected, and what wasn’t met. In that case, the defective product(s) will not go into our stock. Instead, we will quarantine it until we’re getting a replacement. The report includes pictures and details of the failure as well.

 

On the other hand, if we ever receive a returned faulty part back from our customer, we will also test it to pinpoint the problem. The report and our findings would appear at the Returns page from My Profile section on our website where the full communications on returns could also be found. This way we have the highest level of transparency and clarity with our customers.
